Free women's health screening guide for movement professionals | Evolve Academy

The questions worth asking before you teach her
A free one-page screening guide for movement professionals, across pregnancy and postnatal, menopause and midlife, and the conditions younger women live with too.
 The Why
Most movement instructors care deeply about the women in front of them. But hardly any of us were ever taught much about women's health, because it simply is not on most training courses. This free guide is a small way to start closing that gap: the questions worth asking, and the signs worth knowing, before you begin.
Who it is for
For anyone who teaches movement to women: personal trainers, strength and group fitness coaches, Pilates and yoga teachers, reformer teachers, and everyone in between. Whether you support women through pregnancy and postnatal recovery, menopause and midlife, or the conditions younger women often carry in silence like an overactive pelvic floor, endometriosis and PCOS, this is for you. Women's health knowledge should be shared, not gatekept.
What's coming
The guide is free. Behind it sits a series of full courses, each one evidence-led and built for real sessions:
Perinatal Movement, supporting pregnancy and postnatal recovery. Launching first.
Menopause and Midlife Movement, coming next.
And a third course is in the works for the women almost nobody trains for: women of menstruating age living with things like an overactive pelvic floor, endometriosis or PCOS.
Join the list and you will be the first to hear as each one opens.

About Kim
I am Kim Pedrick, and my experience runs deep on both sides of this work: clinical women's health, and movement teaching. As a chartered physiotherapist I have specialised in women's and pelvic health for 25+ years. As a movement teacher I teach Pilates, including the full equipment and reformer, and yoga, and for over 20 years I have trained other teachers, lectured internationally, and delivered training for some of the largest Pilates organisations.
That depth on both sides is what shapes Evolve Academy. Understanding women's health clinically is one thing; knowing how to bring it into a real session, with real people, is another. I have spent years doing both, and this is where I pass it on, for every kind of movement professional: evidence-led, practical training designed to help you think, not just follow rules.

"This course gave me the confidence to work safely with perinatal clients. I now feel much more confident knowing when to refer someone on, and how to adapt exercises to suit each person."
